quick meal idea?

Category: quick meal ideas

i'm only cooking for me and one other person and this is what i've found around the house that i would like to use in the dish: small pre-cooked shrimp, thin spaghetti, and Parmesan cheese. i know i want them all in one dish, i just havent figured out how to pull it all together.. does anyone have any ideas? thanks!

Maybe you could!!! Cook the Pasta, then in a pan saute the shrimp with garlic and olive oil add some white wine, mix in pasta cook until warm. Alt and pepper to taste. You could add some cream to make it creamy then put cheese on top!!!

Mix them together and add butter, or spaghetti sauce or an alfredo sauce, look up how to make homemade alfredo, i think it is just a couple things you would use around the house.

boil the spaghetti, drain it, add butter and garlic to the pasta and let it warm on the stove so it catches the flavor. Meanwhile make the shrimp with a little bit of olive oil and add a little lime juice to it…place it on top of the pasta and sprinkle it with the parmesan cheese. Hope this helps!!! Should take less than 20 minutes.

If you have olive oil and garlic - cook the garlic in the oil, add the shrimp, and then add the almost al-dente pasta to that pan and let it cook for a few more minutes with the parm. Some salt, pepper, onion powder, parsley - whatever you like

You could always make the shrimp as a side dish… but then again you could just add diced shrimp to the spaghetti sauce.

Sauce would be a great help. If you can't get even a can of it. Just boil the spaghetti to your satisfaction, cook the shrimp in whatever manner you prefer, boil, or broil, or saute. Serve them separately with the cheese availble for topping.

    Take out works also.

You can even add some items such as olives, spinach etc and make a seafood salad, optionally adding inexpensively imitation crab and some clam juice.

well, of course you have to cook the shrimp in a pan above the oven in oil or butter for about 7 minutes on each side of the shrimp (remember flip the shrimp). while doing that cook your spagetti in bowling water with a little vegetable oil in the water. let cook. after they are both cook mix them in a big bowl together. having basil on top makes the whole meal look delicious! hope this helps!

Cook the noodles and when finished put into a bowl, saving some of the pasta water. Don't add cold water to the pasta. Add butter, cheese and the shrimp. Add some hot pasta water to the dish to help melt the butter.
    Enjoy.
